Psychology grew out of the Enlightenment’s belief that man can gain Control through Reason. Nothing was as devastating and enigmatic as what came to labeled as mental illness. Since the spiritual is not empirical and works-based religions powerless, Man seemed condemned to suffer these inexplicable bouts of madness. Asylums were developed to house, imprison, those afflicted under the most brutal conditions imaginable. As if that were not enough, treatments were merely disguised forms of torture; some of which are still being used today. Was there no hope? Was there no cure? Then two men showed the way out of this morass; or did they? Sigmund Freud and Ivan Pavlov separately developed workable methodologies that promised to alleviate the suffering. However, the Twentieth Century proved that far from being cures these men developed the very tools necessary for YOU to accept and embrace Socialism. Since the French Revolution Science, or Reason, has been touted as the only means to understand the world apart from religion which is non-science; which is true. God, through Paul, shows the fallacy and progression of Man’s Reason apart from His Truth (Ro 1:17-32). Recurring theme in the movie, The Incredibles, was the difference between normal people, those without super powers, and those special people who had super powers; or, more bluntly, Superheroes: Eugenical New Norm. The superhero genres began during the Progressive Era and vacillated between fantasy and rationalism. The one constant was the absence of unique power(s) to normal people. They were powerless in a world of powerful people and governments without a champion(s) to plead their cause. The superhero(s) would defend the little people because of…goodness: with great power comes great responsibility; or so the myth explains. But, what is the reality? Pandora’s Lie of Pleasure was a ruse of Greek mythology to explain why the promise of knowledge never brought hope. Pandora, name literally means all gifts, was given to man with the promise of hope, love and pleasantries. However, she brought with her the lie of pain which she unleashed due to insatiable curiosity. Our last post, Evolution of Prometheus, discussed the lie of evolution. Modern evolution focused people’s attention on the past; however, its major focus was always on the future. Our last post, Frankenstein to Transhumanism, several topics were elucidates explaining the goals of Satan; this post will focus on the Evolution of Prometheus. Prometheus was the Greek mythic figure who brought fire to man. Prometheus, meaning forethought, is the embodiment of science, culture and metalwork as well as being a trickster.  For bringing man fire, he was chained to a mountain and a vulture daily ate his liver as punishment for trying to make man equal to the gods. This early story shows the struggle sinful people have juxtaposing religion and knowledge.  The knowledge that Prometheus brought, and for which man strives to obtain today, is to go beyond the boundaries of flesh: it is to incorporate technology with flesh to create the Übermensch, superman, of the future. In the novel, man seeks to creates life from lifelessness; however, this pits man’s creation against man. Man dies from exhaustion while man’s creation drifts away into the arctic mists. Modern Society’s Idols are built upon the foundation of biological evolution’s foundation that seeks to explain man without God. Though rejected at the time, it remained germinal until the Progressive Era when it blossomed fully formed into the violence and destruction known as the 20th century. It is based on a false premise rejected over 2,000 years ago in the Bible that all processes are only Uniformitarianism (2Pe 3:3-7). Even observations, science, discredit this fundamental aspect of evolution and must be actively ignored in order to propagate the delusion which has grown into every aspect of modern society {Debunking Evolution}.
