In a time long, long ago, in a land far, far away peoples struggled for dominance. Major empires were decimated and small kingdoms sought to fill the power vacuum with their meager forces. A new people with a new hope promised to bring Light into the chaos. But, swirling Dark forces plotted against them. The light could not be removed by direct combat. I bet dollars to donuts many of you have not heard about the FTX cryptocurrency scandal; and why should you? Most people either have not heard of cryptocurrency or have any inkling of what it is or of what value is it? Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin is for the fringe conspiracy-freedom element or the ultra rich who have money to burn. Who cares if they get taken; they probably deserve it being so rich and all. And off you go about your daily business of watching your favorite propaganda show, keeping up with your favorite social media app or even watching the government approved news show. All of these are designed to keep you complacent while the Great Reset occurs around you. Writing at the dawn of the Progressive Era, I believe Nietzsche saw the rise of the Oligarchs, ruling elites, uncontrolled by biblical constraints. I struggled to understand why Christ appeared to commend the obviously crooked steward in this story while chastening believers supposedly for not using unrighteous mammon {elements of wealth and control} of this world (Lk 16:1-13). One of my foundational pillars of exegetical hermeneutics is when I do not understand the Bible I need to rethink my perspective rather than ignorantly interpret Scripture as I want to believe {eisegesis}. Listening to YouTube’s conservative pundits pontificate over Disney’s wokeness propaganda while opining over the tradition, read conservative, values of yesteryear made me wonder if they really understood Hollywood’s true role since its inception? D.W. Griffith’s, Birth of a Nation (1915), singlehandedly revived the Neo-Klu Klux Klan from the Whitehouse to the everyone’s house until the rise of the Civil Rights Movement in the late 1950s into the 1960s Western cultural revival. Hollywood has always been a propaganda mill to educate the masses in right-think. American propaganda throughout the 20th century propagates the myth that despots, tyrants, control their societies from the top-down through secret police, terror tactics and control of the social-medical-educational institutions. Certainly, George Orwell popularized this view in his seminal work, Animal Farm. Not only is this impractical on a large scale but it flies in the face of history, even recent history. These people came to power because their societies generally accepted them; they reflected societies values. They also came to power in the 20th-21st century because of hidden forces shaping societies to self-select such people as rulers. Remember the Golden Rule: One who has the gold, makes the rules. What America Learned from World War II

Upon his retirement from the United States Marine Corps, General Smedley Butler warned citizens of how their government used the military in support of the Progressive Era’s business-financial complex, as shown above. President Eisenhower, upon his retirement made a similar observation concerning the growing power of the military-industrial complex. American citizens ignored these experienced military leaders. The Progressive Era, after the Revolution of 1913, forged national socialism at home under the guise of World War I (WWI). However, many of these gains were rolled back when WWI ended. Even the Great Depression’s fostering of government expansion could not return to the heady days socialism achieved during WWI. However, between the world wars President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) forged a service to supply the missing ingredient to keep socialism from unraveling after the next war: World War II (WWII). Today’s coming Great Reset is a product of these forces which previous generations ignored and which today’s generation continues to ignore. Remember, there is only one rule: To win! John begins his revealing of the vision received from Christ via a heavenly messenger, angel, by acknowledging Christ as the Faithful Witness above all other qualities. At first blush one may assume that Christ is faithfully transmitting the revelation He received from the Father and is giving to John. However, it is this type of narrowly focused thinking that gets readers confused when reading the Revelation of Christ. My mind wandered back to John’s Gospel, which I had studied a couple of years ago, and I realized that there was a much larger concept at work in this passage that transcended this apocalyptic revealing of Revelation.
