Writing at the dawn of the Progressive Era, I believe Nietzsche saw the rise of the Oligarchs, ruling elites, uncontrolled by biblical constraints. This filtered down to the masses in the form of super beings created to save them from these hidden oligarchs. American propaganda throughout the 20th century propagates the myth that despots, tyrants, control their societies from the top-down through secret police, terror tactics and control of the social-medical-educational institutions. Certainly, George Orwell popularized this view in his seminal work, Animal Farm. Not only is this impractical on a large scale but it flies in the face of history, even recent history. These people came to power because their societies generally accepted them; they reflected societies values. They also came to power in the 20th-21st century because of hidden forces shaping societies to self-select such people as rulers. Remember the Golden Rule: One who has the gold, makes the rules. John begins his revealing of the vision received from Christ via a heavenly messenger, angel, by acknowledging Christ as the Faithful Witness above all other qualities. At first blush one may assume that Christ is faithfully transmitting the revelation He received from the Father and is giving to John. However, it is this type of narrowly focused thinking that gets readers confused when reading the Revelation of Christ. My mind wandered back to John’s Gospel, which I had studied a couple of years ago, and I realized that there was a much larger concept at work in this passage that transcended this apocalyptic revealing of Revelation. For the first time the general public is watching, through their propagandistic informational medias, the annual Davos meeting hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF). Whether you are Left, Right or somewhere else; you are being fed a script informing you What to Think. Each presentation is carefully planned to feed you some aspect of their agenda. This cleverly designed gaslighting slowly gaining one’s acceptance of their true agenda; what we used to call,  boiling the frog slowly. However, the actual vital decisions are made privately and implemented through the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) and its member Central Banks. As you are pulled from one crisis to another, some actual and some probably contrived, your attention is diverted away from the true expansion of Control. To answer these two questions requires we understand the Modern Age to grasp what is occurring in our Postmodern period and its relationship to science, scientism and science fiction; oh yes, there is a smattering of philosophy along the way because it is man’s wisdom guided by Satan that pushes this process to his ultimate conclusion (Jn 8:44). Ancient man through Medeival Man was primarily ruled by overt religious beliefs. Primarily these beliefs were anti-God because one’s sin nature hates God and rejects God’s Truth in any form (Ps 51:5; Ro 1:18-28). Early Christianity, Roman Catholicism (RCC), absorbed Augustine’s Neo-Platonism and Valentinus’ Gnosticism while later RCC imported Aquinas’ Aristotelianism. The merging of these various competing philosophies was known as Scholasticism. Then the Renaissance threw off all forms of god-type beliefs focusing on Man: The Measure of All. The Modern Age began. While I have discussed Nietzsche’s Ubermensch in previous posts, I will show that Nietzsche did not develop this concept himself and it is still alive today with Black Lives Matter (BLM) simply being the fastest iteration {Evolution of Prometheus.}. In the linked article discussing Ubermensch, notice that Nietzsche believed that Napoleon was an Ubermensch; in fact, this linked Nietzsche to Hegel in that both admired Napoleon who was a product of the French (Socialist) Revolution. Sin‘s Hidden Reality: Control-Enslavement, is the black thread running throughout the Bible in juxtaposition to Christ’s red thread of blood sacrifice. One is designed to enslave people to sin, self and Satan, who would be king. The other is God alone who frees believers from death to be sons of the Living God (Lk 20:34-38; Ga 4:4-7; Ep 2:1-8). But at sin’s core is the grasping after Control which man was led to believe was possible based solely on knowledge gained apart from God. This coveting for Control by self was made by the quintessential king of liars himself, Satan who had already declared his intention to be above God; i.e., to Control this new Creation of Man apart from God for his own ends (Pr 14:28). Thus, Man followed Satan into rebellion, sin, against God only to discover himself enslaved and thus without any control. In our current series discussing Control, we have traced its negative influence from its inception through the primary relationship of socialization, the family, into marriage, the basic building-block relationship of society {God Offered Cain Control; Controlling Fear: Cain and Abel; Control’s Slavery of Peace; Marriage: Training for Control Violence; Control Wealth to Control People; Purpose of Governments: Control.}. One of the most salient posts, Essence of Sin is Control sans Power, is probably the most difficult to grasp as people conflate Control with Power; however, the two are very different. Power is inherent in the nature of God; it is not endemic to His created beings: Angels and Mankind. Sin is the struggle for Control without Power against God’s Control: Coveting Control (Ge 3:5; Is 14:12-17).
